A Lighting Collection resulting from a class exercise in the utilization of three manufacturing techniques; CNC Machining, Laser Cutting and 3D Printing, in a single lighting piece.
The Icarus Collection incorporates a CNC milled walnut disk, which has been gold leafed to create a reflector. A 3D printed support ring and laser cut wood ring detail allows the hardware to create a sandwiched tension fit between the walnut reflector and brass structure.
Hand wired, chain detail, natural finish.
